Grief Club

This is a piece I worked on for the paper about this group of kids at one of the North Side high schools. They call themselves the Grief Club, and they meet to support and help each other through loss. Some of the students have lost parents to drug addiction, best friends to gun violence, and grandmothers to old age. They are an amazing group of young people, and I was totally inspired by their courage and grace.
